Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Scandid (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use sample-med-app.vercel.app and related Scandid pages. It applies to the Scandid imaging marketplace, including account creation, checkout, appointment scheduling, and any documents you upload in support of an order.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Scandid, we may collect:
- Account details: name, email, optional phone, marketing opt-in
- Login identity: email/password and, if you choose, Google, Apple, Facebook, or Microsoft
- Order and appointment information you submit at checkout (including documents you upload)
- Technical data such as IP address and browser type, when already collected for authentication
Social sign-in
You may create an account or sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, or Microsoft. Those providers will see that you used Scandid and will share identity information with us (typically email and name). We use that only to authenticate you and create or link your Scandid account.
Social providers are not a HIPAA business associate for Scandid health information. We do not send order contents, clinical documents, or other PHI to Google, Apple, Facebook, or Microsoft.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account
- Complete checkout, orders, and appointments
- Send verification, magic-link, and transactional email
- Send product updates only if you opt in
- Prevent abuse and keep an identity audit for support
Sharing
We share information with:
- Service providers that host auth, email, and payments (for example Supabase, Resend, Stripe, PayPal)
- The social provider you choose, for sign-in only
- Care providers you book, as needed to fulfill an order
We do not sell your personal information.
User data deletion
You can request that we delete your Scandid account and associated personal data.
- Sign in and use Account → Sign-in methods to disconnect social logins, or sign out and stop using the service
- Email a deletion request from the address on your account. We will confirm the request and delete or de-identify account data we control, except records we must keep for legal, security, or completed-order purposes
- If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Scandid under Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. That stops Facebook login; it does not automatically delete your Scandid orders. Send us a deletion request as well
